| Description: | Even nowadays Ugandan people do not have adequate water and sanitation supply. In particular in urban areas but also in rural areas there is a shortage of disposal of faecal sludge. For this reason GIZ carries out the RUWASS (Urban Water and Sanitation Sector Programme) in Uganda. RUWASS supports in elaboration master plans for sanitation supply with special emphasis on small and medium-sized towns. Therefore an engineering design of two faecal sludge management facilities has to be carried out. The plants shall be simple, cost effective/efficient, easy to operate and maintain. |
